Mini Garden tour
Well been busy..... no not learning to drive... not yet... I been visiting my great gardening friends Violeta and Liga. Its great to see such a brilliant gardens, filled with the plants i never knew before. with the colours and magic corners.
First I have visited Violetas Garden.. well not just visit we had a great time sitting down and dreaming about bigger gardens, greater disigns and discussing how much we moved on from the girls who only knew how to grow the sunflowers..hah ha.. Violetas garden is an example how you can achieve the beautiful garden in the small space if you plan and play around with the colours. The plants are so healthy that you can put them in the plant enciclopedia. thank you for the lovely time Violeta, generousity and can not wait to see you in my place...
Second stop its Ligas...well if you go to Ligas you need to prepare your latin dictionary and just keep up with all the rare and unusual plants... Orchids in sizes from 0 to 10//.. beautiful colection Liga.. Geraniums and palergoniums in different colours, scents and foliage...peonies, day lilies and roses just blooming... oh i really need to inject more colour in my garden after seeing yours... and yes Liga you can do so many jumpers with the wool you have got.. thanks for the cuttings and geraniums they are so beautifull. hope to see you soon.
happy gardening to you all.

In Kilquade garden centre with Gerry Daly.
After we moved to our house in Avoca been few ups and downs... Some bad winters damaged lovely mature garden, some bad summers killed the joy of growing vegs... Few happy moments with arrival of baby ponies and goslings, lift the spirits. First Apple pie using our apples made country side living well worth it....
But last Sunday I just realized that the dreams do come true... I won a Shopping voucher for 300 euro in Kilquade Garden centre co. Wicklow with Irish Garden magazine... yes all 300 euro to spend on plants.... I still can not believe that it could happen to somebody like me.... who never won a euro...
I have spend it all...... Thank you Kilquade garden centre staff ( Expecially Suzzane) and Gerry Daly for fantastic expierence and advice on plants.
happy gardening to you all..
Can not tell you what i got.. have to wait for next Irish Garden magazine to come out in July...
