Beds Filled
Got one of the major jobs out of the way today, 4 ton of soil arrived this morning for the new veg beds, all beds filled and awaiting planting!!!! feel a bit achy now but nothing that a hot bath and a few beers wont cure!!

Our first Chillies & Peppers this year
Picked our first chillies & peppers for this year yesterday! Scotch bonnet, Sweet ladies finger and Lemon drop! always great to get a harvest in January!!!!

New Veg Garden for 2011
Hello all, posted a few photos of the beginnings of our new veg garden for 2011! will be easy to manage with 4 veg beds 1 bed is 10'x4' 2 beds 12'x4' and the last bed is 14'x4', there will also 2 beds 12'x 4' for fruit, not pictured! will post some more photos when we are closer to the finished article!

New Year New Plans............
Hello all, and a belated Happy New Year to you all! have been busy since i was last on the site but not as busy as i would have liked!! i was laid up for a while since last Sept and due to that and everything else that was happening i just hadn't the time i would have liked to give to our various projects and to this site! well i feel to be on the mend and we are really looking forward to the new season, i have had to take stock of things and due to the fact that i have to take things easier i have had to let the allotment go, in a way i feel sad but to be honest i wouldn't be able for it anymore energy or time wise! so we have redesigned the garden and plan to put a couple of new veg beds on a spare piece of ground adjoining the old Orchard so we will still be producing a fair amount of fruit and veg, it will just be more manageable and less time consuming! will stick up a few photos tomorrow, its nice to be back..............
