Busy couple of weeks
Hello all, haven't been here for a couple of weeks as its been a really busy time in the greenhouse, veg beds, orchard and gardens! everything is coming on really well and we are delighted with the way its all shaping up! started potting on the toms into their final pots today so hope to have this done by the end of the week! the first of our lemons is just about ready for picking, so we have decided on a nice bottle of gin for the occasion! all fruit and veg are flying as are the new beds in the garden! will take several posts to fill you in on everything that's been going on, and i will do so in due course! in the meantime will post up a few albums................

Lemon Tree
The Lemon tree we purchased a couple of months ago is flying! when we bought it it had 1 large lemon and about 4 much smaller ones on the plant, now it still has the one large fruit and around a dozen smaller fruits, it also now has around 2 dozen flowers either open or about top open! and has also set new growth on all stems and branches! delighted!! will put up an album with photos.....

Tomatoes to be potted on
Will make a start now on potting on the toms from their 3" pots into 1ltr and 1.5ltr pots, catch the last hour of daylight! talk later folks!!

Grow bag trays
Yesterday while out and about i noticed these trays, and while i don't use grow-bags i thought they would be ideal for putting 3" pots of potted on seedlings into, or seed trays (they take 4!) as you can water from underneath! but the price put me off €16.99! and later yesterday while up in our local supermarket i wandered over to their hardware department and lo and behold there are the same trays! priced at €3.99!!!!!!!!!!!! they had only 4 left so i snapped them up for €15.96!! really delighted with these trays will get plenty of use with them!
