Dendrobrium from Rita
Rita, hope you are continuing to make good progress, we all think about you often on this site.
I just though you would like to see the Dendrobrium cutting that you gave me in Belvedere last year. It has just started flowering, it is even more stunning than I expected. Thank you.
Hope all your plants are doing well and you are enjoying this sunshine.

Flaming Parrots
I bought some Flaming Parrot bulbs in Aldi/Lidl in the Autumn (after seeing them in Rachel's garden last year!) and I am really pleased with them, will have to buy more! This morning after I left the kids to school I noticed them leaning over, they looked amazing.
I know you should dead head daffs, should you dead head Tulips also???

Viburnum Plicatum 'Mariesii'
Last year I bought a Viburnum Plicatum Mariesii full of flower (see May 09 album) but this year I have no flowers, I presume at this stage it won't either, anyone any ideas why? I also bought Viburnum Popcorn and it is full of flowers - neither have been treated any differently!
Lovely day for gardening today, did some potting on, watering and weeding!!
