As Martin says - A Garden Shot
Where to start as Rachel has said it all but I have to say it again! Collected Rachel at 8 a.m. & drove to Terra Nova. From the moment we entered the gate we were overwhelmed.
Deborah & Martin you have such a wonderful garden which needs to be seen to be believed, no photo does it justice. Your garden by far "Exceeded Expectations. You are both so talented and enthusiastic, you have great energy and imagination. Thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity, we did not see the 5 and a half hours go by.
It was great to meet HippyChick and her friend Albie (?) and share the time with them too. When I met Fran on Saturday he said he was planning on going back to Terra Nova again this year - I can see why. I cannot recommend seeing the garden enough. It is by far the best garden I have every seen. It must be loved and tended to 24/7.
Thank you so much once again - and thank you Rachel for the company.

Mystery Plant
I was given this plant last year at Belvedere and was not sure what it was, it was tiny and now it is over 5 foot tall. I believe it is a Knautia, it is a lovely colour but needs to be staked.
I know nothing about this plant, I presume it is a perennial, do I cut it back after flowering?

Geranium Magnificum
If anyone who is going to Rachels next week would like some Geranium Magnificum they are welcome, mine has got too big so I pulled some away today and put the flowers in a glass! Be warned it needs space but it is covered in flowers!

One of my favourite Bloom Gardens
This garden was in my top three, I really liked the colour cobination and the way it was packed with plants, even right at the back the detail was brilliant. I am no looking for Heuchera Rave which was planted in this garden.

Lupins
Lupins give a great show, they do take up lots of room but they flower for ages and these ones here are not even at it's best yet. Great day for gardening today, weeding is on my agenda (again!)
