Scadoxus Mutiflorus (Football Lily)
I planted 3 bulbs in a pot, bought from the Himalayan Gardens Ltd. with Rachel months ago. Before I went away only the tips were showing above ground, two weeks later they are flowering, they flower first and then the leaves appear. I didn't expect them to be short!
Don't know much else about them so if anyone knows about their aftercare and how to get them to flower again next year I would be delighted to hear from you!

Back to Reality
Just spent a couple of weeks with the family in Brem sur Mer, took a photo of this beautiful Canna in St. Gilles Croix de Vie, their Canna's are to die for!
Well now back to the hard slog of THE WEEDS, I have never seen so many rocket up, my back is broken trying to get on top of them.
However, I had some lovely flowering surprises when I came back. Will show you in due course. The veg. garden in thriving apart from the cauliflowers which I think are blind!
Catching up with all your journals, you have all been busy and glad to see the banter has not been lost - yes Martin & Fran - I have been watching!
