This was an old bit of tree trunk but has a table cloth of moss, thought it was very pretty.

We were in Tomnafinnogue Wood for a walk at the weekend and I was fascinated by all the moss and how beautiful it was, I particularly liked this piece of twig hanging down from a tree and the way it was like a mini piece of architecture!

More than one person yesterday gave out to me for not putting up more photos!  When I was looking at my photo section this morning I realised the last album I put up was in June!!  So I have put a few from July to December now.

It has really got me into the gardening frame of mind and wish it was a bit warmer to get out and do more (and to have more time for it!)

Great day at Johnstown

Astrantia Florence

Thank you to everyone for a great day yesterday, to Hazel and all her helpers, to Jim Clarke in Johnstown who pulled out all the stops for us, really appeciated and to Gerry Daly for joining us.

Thank you also to all those who gave me swaps, I will have to list them and my purchases also on my spreadsheet!  Great selection of reasonable cottaqe perrenials in Johnstown for €4, I got a number of plants on my wish list including Astrantia Florence (my mothers name!).

Can't wait for the next meet up, hopefully when it is a bit warmer!
