Spread out in a tranquil valley surrounded by green rolling hills, Ballycommane Garden (4 acres) features a huge variety of more than 1000 native and exotic shrubs and trees. Specialist collections include rare plants from the Azores. Secluded garden rooms, a pond and a greenhouse provide ever-changing vistas while following the paths meandering through lush greenery. We invite you to explore at your leasure, or to just sit down and relax. At the highest point in the garden, there is an ancient monument guarded by towering Monterey pines. It comprises the Ballycommane boulder-burial site and a pair of standing stones. From this magical place, there is a panoramic view over the surrounding landscape.
