This half-acre coastal plot was started in 2005 and is enclosed by boundary hedges to provide shelter from the cold, salty winds. The space is subdivided into a number of areas and habitats and includes a circular herb garden, small woodland areas, perennial borders and lawns, a pergola for climbers, an enclosed patio garden as well as raised fruit and vegetable beds, and a polytunnel.
