Hunting Brook Gardens
Hidden at the bottom of a secret, shady gorge that lies just west of the house is the chattering mountain stream that gives Hunting Brook its name and which runs through it like an artery, tumbling its way over granite boulders and through a tranquil woodland that Jimi has begun to clothe with an understorey of choice shade-loving plants.

News:
Jimi Blake’s beautiful gardens – Hunting Brook Gardens – will open to the public again on June 3th. Visitors will get the chance to have a first look at the amazing new sand garden and woodland beds.
During the last few months of the lock down Jimi has created huge exciting new areas of garden. This includes an extensive sand garden featuring an incredible variety of exotic plants combined an eclectic mix of hardy plants and three large
woodland gardens. These new gardens double the size of planting areas in the gardens at Hunting Brook. After strolling through the gardens visitors can meander through forest trails in the valley and up into the wildflower meadow. Here they can enjoy stunning views of the Wicklow mountains and surrounding countryside.
Jimi will open the gates from June 3rd and thereafter the gardens will be open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 4pm. Covid 19 protocol will be in place – full details on www.huntingbrook.com
