The HSE Rural Training Centre, which is part of Mayo Mental Health Services, provides health & social support to persons on their recovery journey, in a therapeutic garden setting.

Our aim is to promote health and social gain, while engaging in a worthwhile activity, What’s available in the centre: chemical-free vegetable growing, shrubs, perennials, roses, soft fruit, herbs, arts, crafts, home baking, art etc.

The centre also engages with various IT institutions from around the country, by providing placements to social care students.
