I've 2 rhodendrums in pots side by side, one is perfect and healthy but on the other one over the past few weeks has slightly lost colour and it's bottom leaves have gone yellow. They are well fertilized and seaweed extract added regularly. I've checked for grubs and there does'nt seem to be any present.
I was given a lovely Amaryllis at Christmas, pale pink and white, two flowers emerged. Please advise if it will flower again or is it just a 'once off'.

I bought two White Hydrangea last July. I transplanted both into larger containers earlier this year using John Innes Multi Purpose compost. Now the flowers are becoming reddish around the edges & the leaves also. Should I use John Innes Ericaceous compost? If yes, do I remove all the old compost from around the root ball? I would like to keep the Hydrangeas in containers for another while.

Hi Gerry. I have a well established holly tree (30+ years) but it has widely spaced branches with only light cover of leaves. It appears to be perfectly healthy. I'm wondering if I could grow a climber through it? I don't want to choke it but I do want to fill the gaps a bit because it's the one spot where I can be overlooked from the top of the double decker buses going by. I would prefer something which is at its best in mid summer. What would you suggest?
