I recently bought a white horsechestnut at a good price. probably sitting in a pot for years at nursery. there is some leafburn and bark damage. could you have a look at pictures and give me a prognosis. it has a good central leader so i took a chance once planted in ground it might recover next year. also where its planted will be a windy spot. could you give me some advice on care. i also took great care when planting adding composted manure and compost and well watered.

Plants often suffer in pots, especially trees, so plant out in the gorund when the leaves fall. Give plenty of space to grow and keep free of weeds.
