ants in greenhouse

Jackie McNair asked 16 years ago

I have ants in my greenhouse, I grow tomatoes, basil, aubergines, peppers and grapes. Will they cause any problem and if so how do I solve the problem?

Ants do not directly cause a problem but they carry aphids onto plants and may be a nuisance to humans. If the nuisance gets too great, apply an antkiller to the entrances to the nest.
