Hi Gerry, in my flower garden i have planted a dozen broccolli plants which are growing well, but this morning i have discovered at least 50 to 60 caterpillars working their way through the leaves.I’ve been trying to develope a wildlife garden and bring in insects,but i don’t want to lose the broccolli either,will leaving them affect the growth of the broccolli or should i get rid of them. The caterpillars will eat the broccoli before you do. And even if they don’t, broccoli with caterpillars is not the most appetizing!
So you need to decide which do you want most … the broccoli or the wildlife?
