Escallonia Gold Brian

Maureen McGrane asked 14 years ago

I have an Escallonia planted in Sept 2002 about 8′ tall. The leaves are covered in black spots and a number of the branches are drooping with the leaves dead altogether. I enclose a photo. I would be very grateful for your opinion and any advice you could give me.

This is escallonia leafspot, very common and damaging to older leaves. New leaves will come soon and hide it.
