We have a Jonagold apple tree for 3 years. Each year we have very bad rust on leaves and fruit. What can we do to resolve this.

This sounds like apple scab disease to which ‘Jonagold’ is susceptible and you need to spray with Doff Systemis Fungs Control when the leaves open and once each month to June or even July.
