What do you recommend for killing widespread convolvolus without damaging plants it is growing on? Will Roundup work?

Roundup or Brushwoodkiller will kill bindweed or convolvulus but will also damage or kill decorative plants on which it is growing.

Untangle the bindweed and roll up without breaking the stem into a plastic bag and spray in the bag, leaving bag and bindweed in place for a few days. Then take off the bag.

Or spray the new bindweed shoots in late spring as they come through the soil but before they begin to climb.
