I planted 260 healthy bare root laurel hedge last week,can you please advise, do i need to water and how ofter ?in this harsh, freezing,frost and snow conditions, and advise for coming months, watering,fertilise, strimming.

WHile it is not ideal for young trees to be planted during cold frosty weather, they are likely to be okay. Watering is unlikely to be necessary, nor feeding if the soil is reasonably good.

Do not touch the stems with a strimmer, but remove, or kill, all weeds near the plants within at least 30cm on each side.
