I am about to set to boundaries of roughly 400ft of gold leylandii at 3foot intervals. my question is can i spray between them to kill weeds? if i get some weedkiller on the stem or leaves of the leylandii will it kill them.

Weedkiller on the plants, bark or foliage, can cause damage if it drifts. Control weeds before planting, a one metre wide strip and keep it free of weeds later by hoeing or careful spraying.
