we just cut down all our hedging at front of house, it provided great shelter and privacy.. can you suggest what would be good to replace this and maybe be frost resistant. We would like to get privacy back asap also we like the red robin tree/shrub would be advise? its very windy and exposed here.

Laurel or holly are good alternaives. Photinia ‘Red Robin’ is not completely hardy.
