Move mature mallows in garden

Joan Fitzpatrick asked 14 years ago

I have some mallows of approximately 2 years in my garden and I would like to move them. Would it be appropriate to move them now. If now is the right time, should I first cut them back, as they are currently flowering.

Mallows can be moved anytime between now and spring. These are perennial flowers and easy to move. If you are referring to tree mallows, these can be more difficult to move as the roots can be damaged. But at two years, they should be okay.
