I’m moving soon from my family home and want to move as much shrubs as I can and I have old roses also, I’m moving from sandy land to heavy wet land.

The first point is the ownership of the shrubs. If the house has been sold, all plants are part of the sale unless specifically excluded by written agreement.
Move evergreen shrubs in October or March and deciduous kinds and roses from November to March.
Some kinds that like sandy soil do not like heavy soil and you need to research the requirements of each kind.
