Our lawn was overrun with moss and weeds. I put down a 3 in 1 lawn feed, moss and weed killer. There are areas of spillage and/or overapplication. After 3 days the grass seems to be turning black and grey. Is there anything I can do to rectify or lessen the damage on these areas?

Over-application can do damage as the fertilizer component desicccates the grass. But the sulpahte of iron mosskiller in 3-in-1 feeds tends to blacken grass anyway, so the damage may not be too severe.
Leave it be and the rain will wash it out. If there are sizable dead patches, ruffle the surface and re-sow grass seeds.
