Phormium, not flowering

I have 2 varieties of Phormium. 1 giant, 3 pink flushed leaves. all doing very well but no flowers! Acid soil. What do they need please?

In general, Phormium is grown for its leaves, and the flowers are secondary. The plant smay not flower for a year or two until they grow large and then they flower.

If they are growing in partial shade, they tend to flower less.
