Great year for blossom including our mature Paulownia. My wife saw a program on pruning Paulownia for max flowers, but can’t remember the details (BBC?)… can you advise specifics. I have pruned v early spring sometimes, good for giant leaves but flowers seems to dislike pruning.

Do not prune Paulownia for flowers. It is pruned only to give big leaves in a tropical border, for instance.
