Jacinta Byrne asked 13 years ago

A Rubus benenden which has been in the garden for over 15 years is now looking very scraggly, with ony a few branches with leaves, the rest bare. Any suggestions?

Rubus ‘Benenden’ is a very pretty shrub related to raspberry but looks like a small white rose in flower.

It is not a long-lived shrub and gets weak and straggly. probably due to honey fungus. Take some cuttings and start new plants.
