I have a small garden with quite a bit of ivy around the perimeter which seems to house dozens of snails – today a number of them seem to have migrated in large numbers to my lawn and plants (not sure why, possibly the warm wet weather?). I’ve laid a beer trap for them tonight. My question: is there anything I can spray on the ivy to reduce the numbers.

Snails are using the ivy for shelter … cut back the ivy and reduce the shelter.
