I lifted a mature Choisya ‘Sundance’ last November (to facilitate garden work) in a hurry and put it in a container in a loose soil conditioner type compost – all I had. I pruned it severely to move it, and although it hasn’t died entirely, it’s not doing anything either. Is there any hope of recovery?

It is not a great plant to move when mature. Not really worth bothering with now.
