Do you know what kind of weed this is? It is growing near the roots of one of the shrubs in my garden and I am reluctant to put week killer on it in case I damage the shrubs. I have dug it out before and put wood chip down. Any other suggestions would be great.

Thats alchemilla, a garden flower that often gets out of control. Remove it and do not let it go to seed if you want it gone. Others might prefer the ‘weed’ to the bark… it will do little harm to shrubs.
