woodland plants

Plants to suit the front of a woodland area. the woodland is about 15 years planted with sitka spruce and dappled shade trees. i want the planting area to look natural.

There are widely available shrubs that tolerate light shade, such as hydrangea, aucuba, laurustinus, sarcococca, ruscus and snowberry. Some azaleas can tolerate dappled shade on acid soil.
