Slug infestation

Claire Casagrande asked 9 years ago

I am writing to you about a problem I have with slugs in my garden. My garden is very marshy and the grass takes days to dry out. As such I have a terrible problem with slugs. If I walk over the grass they are everywhere. I also have a deck area and I have seen them move down in underneath the deck. I was hoping you may be able to offer some advice as to how I can get rid of the slugs. I have a 4 year old child and a dog so would be looking for a solution which would of course be safe for both my child and dog to be around.

These slugs are not doing harm to plants and something will come and eat them eventually.

But if you want, you can use a product called Nemaslug form Mr Middleton, which use microscopic nematodes to  kill slugs, harmless to everything else.
