The wedding cake tree in its variegated form has been very popular in recent decades, a valued small ornamental tree that was generally quite expensive to buy, being very tricky to propagate.
While it is admired for its tiered cake structure, and its summer creamy-white variegation, its fine autumn colour show is never the topic of much comment, but this tree is as lovely in autumn if not more so.
