For some years I have been setting traps for codling moths and I still have them–what now?

The traps, sacking etc, only catch the ones that are bred in your trees, and do not affect these which fly in from other gardens.

It is usually necessary to spray at petal fall  and two or three weeks later with a garden insecticide, ideally a systemic insecticide, such as Westland Plant Rescue Fruit & Vegetable Conc. Bug Killer.
