Bees

What has happened to the bees,I have noticed a complete lack of them on all the flowers.

There has been a serious reduction in bee numbers, as yet unexplained. Many colonies of bees have died out despite having enough winter food. There is a parastic mite called varroa that is thought to be implicated. Two wet summers would have reduced the numbers of swarms and wild bee colonies.

They are not all gone but certainly reduced in numbers.
