my neighbour has this plant in his garden, i would appreciate if you could tell me what it is and if it is possible to grow it from a cutting? thank you in advance!!!

This is the pineapple guava, Acca sellowiana, formerly Feijoa sellowiana, from Brazil, a borderline hardy plant for a mild garden. It is grown for its pretty flowers and it carries edible fruits in hot countries. It can be used in a conservatory too.
Propagate from cuttings taken in summer.
