I am looking at the above types of dogwood. Can you advise if these are seasonal and if they are likely to die in the winter? I am thinking of a raising flower bed, with good drainage. Also, how big would these grow?/Flowering?

These bark dogwoods look good in bark colour from November to April, but are rather dull in summer, but have good leaf colour in autumn. They reach over two metres and their flowering is not of much interest.

Plant a couple, not too many and some other shrubs and perennial flowers as well. Visit a few garden centres in each season and choose some plants for each season.
