Cutings from existing hedge

Anne Marie Ryan asked 15 years ago

I have an Griselinia hedge and I want to take cuttings so I can plant some more hedging. But I don’t have a clue what I need to do.

Take cuttings about 40cm long from young stems in late autumn and insert them in the ground directly where you want the hedge and they will take root.

If the ground is hard, make a slit with a spade and then push them in, firming them. Keep them free of weeds.
