We have a new build with acidic soil and just lawns done. We want to sow low maintenance plants and trees that do not cost the earth . It is a 2 storey House 180m in from road its an open site with a sweeping drive and lawn wrapping around the house with smaller lawn in front on the other side of the drive, its a blank canvas and I don’t know where to start, out in the countryside. I don’t want the trees to grow too big but still have a good presence. a limestone wall is at the entrance since these photos.
