green fly on my potentilla

angela cunningham asked 13 years ago

I have potentilla in my polytunnel which i planted from seed last autumn. They were doing quite well but i have now noticed that all the plants are covered with greenfly!! I am afraid to take any chances as the plants are delicate and i wonder what i can do to save my plants!

If you can direct a jet of water to wash away the greenflies, this can work well. Or if the plants are too small, gently squeeze the greenflies to crush them. It doesn’t take long, or spray with a greenfly spray.
