i have 2 large house plants the ends of the leaves are gone brown i was told to water them once everyweek should i water them sooner and can i clip off the ends of the leaves that are gone brown

If the tips fo the leaves have gone brown, they either ran short of water, got a little too hot in direct sunlight or got oot much feed.

As a rule of thumb, keep the compost of house plants just moist to the touch from April to September and slighlty drier than that in the rest of the year. This may mean watering twice a week or once every too weeks. The touch rule is best.
