I have a Verbascum densiflorum and a friend wants some seeds. I have crumbled some dried flowers from one of the spikes (that grew to about 10 feet!) but I can’t identify anything as a seed. How can I identify the seed or is it possible that there is none?

The seeds of verbascum form in small rounded pods along the stem. These pods pea-sized and sometimes smaller or lager depending on species contain the tiny seeds, which are each about the size of a full stop.
The pods must be ripe … dry and sprlitting for the seeds to be ripe.
It is also possible that no viable seed pods developed but they ususally do to some degree and verbascum is a common self-sower.
