how do i treat peach leave curl i have 2 trees 1 in Ireland and 1 in Montenegro which has a warm Mediterranean climate. I bought trees in Ireland and was wondering is it the variety of tree that is prone to peach leave curl rather than the climate .

Peach leaf curl is a wet climate fungal disease and usually so bad on outdoor peach trees here that it badly weakens them, and whatever chance they had of carrying fruit is lost. It is not a varietal thing.

The only solution is to grow peaches in a  greenhouse or to cover the foliage on a wall-trained peach in the spring. Basically to simulate growing them in a warm dry country!

Copper-based sprays, such as Bordeaux mixture, have been used to reduce infection but are largely considered undesirable.
