How can i prevent wasps attacking my Victoria plums next year? I prefer not to use insecticides.

Thin the plums to one fruit for every 5cm of branch, on average. This allows the fruit to ripen more evenly and be of better quality. This also helps to even out cropping between years and prevents branch breakage.

Pick off any fruit that is attacked by wasps, as soon as it is attacked, and pick up any fallen fruit, to reduce the attraction for foraging wasps.
