I have a Daphne Astrid that I bought 3 years ago (25euro) I have it in a container on my patio which is south facing and sheltered, I also top dressed it last year. It is struggling, I am desperate not to let it die.It is very bare with a few leaves at the top, I have never pruned it then again it hasn’t grown much since I bought it.

The plant has not been watered adequately… rainfall is not enough.
Daphne in a pot needs to be watered regularly enough to keep the compost damp, not wet or dry, and given liquid feeding every two weeks from April to September.
