I have an angel trumpet, which is flowering at present…it has grown very tall and I would appreciate it if you have any advice on the best way to prune it after flowering.

Angel’s trumpet or datura will be cut back be frost outdoors, or in a pot in a greenhouse. But it would normally not the damaged by frost in a conservatory.

The bigger you can keep it the better the flowers next year. But if you must cut it, do so in late autumn, cutting out whatever parts you wish,.

Be careful about the juice, which is highly poisonous.
