Rhododendron problem

Martin O\’Sullivan asked 13 years ago

I just recently planted a Rhodendron and have noticed it is not doing very well. The leaves are curling inwards plus have noticed some yellow blotches on the underside of the leaf. Could it be iron deficiency related?

If this was planted from a pot, which it probably was, it has not yet rooted into the soil to gain access to a supply of moisture. It is depending on the limited moisture in the root ball.

You need to give it a full watering can of water, and half a can every week until there are signs of active new growth, a few weeks at least.
