You can use your own seed potatoes, simply placing them in a cool, frost-free and rat-free place, not too dry is possible. They could be saved in a pile in a simple pit outdoors, covered with some straw or similar and soil to about 10cm deep.

There is the possibility of carrying over potato blight, potato blackleg disease and potato eelworm, all of which build up with each carry-over, which is why potato seed is certified in the first place, meaning it is deemed free of these and other pests and diseases.
