I plan to plant a specimen tree very near the house, approx 15ft from house. The site is exposed out the back of the house with a beautiful view. The tree will add interest to the back of the house as it’s all about the view at the back of the house. I love maple trees, we have alot of ash nearby, I would like a low mainteance tree that grows to approx 15-20 ft Thanks

A rowan tree would be a good choice, as it is robust and upright and will not block the view.
