I have large Phormiums. Last year for the first time the plants had flowers. The number of dead and damaged leaves is growing.The plants look rather messy at the moment. Should I cut out the dead leafs, leave them and hope for improvement, or are the plants over their top and should be removed (heaven forbids!)? Regards, Fons

Phormiums have been frosted in many parts of the country. So wait and see how they recover before doing anything, then take out dead leaves or fans.
